We are seeking an experienced LPN Nurse Supervisor to join our leadership team on second shift. This is an excellent opportunity for a nurse who enjoys mentoring staff, leading clinical operations, and ensuring exceptional resident care in a collaborative and resident-centered environment.

What You'll Do

As the Second Shift Nurse Supervisor, you will provide clinical leadership and operational oversight for nursing services during your assigned shift.

Responsibilities include:

  • Leading and supporting nursing staff to ensure exceptional resident care.
  • Supervising daily nursing operations within Skilled Nursing and Assisted Living.
  • Monitoring resident conditions and responding to changes in clinical status within scope of practice.
  • Participating in admissions, transfers, discharges, and care planning activities within scope of practice.
  • Collaborating with physicians, nurse practitioners, pharmacies, laboratories, therapists, and other healthcare providers.
  • Reviewing physician orders, laboratory testing, clinical documentation, and treatments for accuracy and timely follow-up.
  • Supporting quality assurance, infection prevention, and regulatory compliance initiatives.
  • Coaching, mentoring, and developing nursing team members.
  • Conducting resident rounds and addressing concerns proactively.
  • Serving as a clinical resource for residents, families, and staff within scope of licensure.
  • Performs all duties in accordance with the North Carolina Nurse Practice Act, facility policies, and within the scope of the individual's professional licensure.

Required

  • Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing.
  • Current North Carolina LPN license, or compact state license.
  • Current CPR certification.
  • Strong leadership, communication, and critical-thinking skills.

Preferred

  • Charge nurse, supervisory, or leadership experience in long-term care.
  • Long-term care, skilled nursing, rehabilitation, or assisted living experience.
  • Experience leading teams and mentoring clinical staff.
